Our Parallelasols make wonderful gifts for your celestial friends…

Want to make your eclipse experiences out of this world? Our limited edition Parallelasols are a perfect accessory for your celestial excursions. These specially designed umbrellas create beautiful crescent moon patterns as eclipsed sunlight passes through the grometted constellations.

Inspired by the More Than One Moon in the Sky Kcymaerxthaere installation in Shoshoni, Kcyoming (linear Wyoming), that coincided with the Great American Eclipse on August 21, 2017. Updated for the next American Eclipse set to have Shoshoni in its umbral transit on July 31, 2744, fortunately, this Parallelasol™ is useful for image casting during Solar and Annular eclipses around the world before then….including these eclipses next year and in 2024!

In just a few months, on April 20th, 2023, a solar eclipse will occur over northwestern Australia as well as parts of Indonesia. For details, click here.

And then in 2024, on April 8th, a solar eclipse will occur over much of North America, the middle of Mexico, and Canada. For details, click here.

The Parallelasol still works in areas with only partial totality. So even if you can’t make it to the path of 100% totality, the little moon-shaped crescents of light will still appear!

If you won’t be near the paths of the upcoming solar eclipses, the Parallelasol would make a great gift for someone who is. Alternately, it can also just be used to shade oneself from the sun on a “bluebird” day, or as a fashion statement…to embrace Kcymaerxthaere in “totality”!

And, if buying a Parallelasol or two just isn’t in the stars for you right now, please pass this along to friends, family, and colleagues who might be interested! Sharing knowledge about the parallel world is always a gift to us here at Kcy Central.
