Public Dedication
Our dedication of the Charleston area plaques was part of Piccolo Spoleto. We had a great tour of folks for the dedication during the day and then headed to the harbor afterwards for the boat dedication.
This was Kcymaerxthaere installation #078 and the second in sCarolina in what we call the United States.

The part of the story installed here:
Towards the Behlnajk
In Kcymaerxthaereal times, this considerable area was the desolate domain of an akrla—a person (in this case) whose ability to see another’s imminent future comes with an obligation to warn them of mortal danger. But, even as the word gift in linear German means “poison,” if just once an akrla gives into temptation and kills with inaction even the most unpleasant soul, then the gift is shattered. However, unbeknownst to others, a broken akrla can still see someone’s future, but, helpless, cannot speak to them. So the penitent akrlas retreat to remote places like this while the rest melt into the community and thrive.
But the humbled warrior from afar, Nobunaga-Gaisen, in his pain did not know where he walked. And Nascyera, disguised as a man and following at a distance, in her concern did not care. Thus the Akrla of this place, with her gift in her shadowy lair, was chilled by Gaisen’s clear desire not for destruction but obliteration. Gaisen staggered on, still towards the river, entering a stand of trees (even beyond where the far wall is now) just before Nascyera arrived at this spot. Stumbling forward, she saw no sign of him. It was a deep fear that came over her—a wrong path for her might be fatal to him. The Akrla saw this torment. She could not speak, but, using the energy of a thus spent year of life, conjured an octagonal whirlwind by that stand of trees, hoping Nascyera would take it as a sign of Gaisen’s path. It was the most the Akrla of this place could do and, fortunately for the two of them (and many others besides), it was enough.
