Moonwatchers installation work moves ahead

Scenes from laying out measurements for the future Kcymaerxthaere site Moonwatchers. Here’s some pictures from our adventure in the Thar Desert in linear Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, not too far from the wonderful @suryagarh, at a beautiful place called Lake Salkha.

Seen here: the Geographer-at-Large Eames Demetrios, and our formidable master of navigation Jograj (or Joggs) in the orange turban, and in the center, the owner of the land (in the yellow turban) — he’s the one who’s so graciously given us the opportunity to build the site here overlooking the dam he built (the lake you see in the distance, called Lake Salkha) in honor of his father, and in turn the dam has created an oasis for herds of sheep, goats, and camels (we even got caught up in one of those herds, but more on that a little further down!).

The next Kcy album cover!

And here’s the crew on-ground after laying out the measurements, with Lake Salkha and a sheep herd in the background. Pictured with the Geo-at-Large and navigator Joggs is Kcy Project Manager Amelia, who rode shotgun for this Kcymaerxthaere Research adventure in linear India. Check out the incredible herd of goats and sheep below!!
