The 14th Annual All-Kymaericas Spelling Bee is coming to Paris, IL on Sunday, April 14th, 2019 at 2:00 PM CDT, at Dalbey Designs at 112 Main St. The All-Kymaericas Spelling Bee emerges from a global art project called “Kcymaerxthaere” by the artist and Geographer-at-Large, Eames Demetrios. Demetrios travels the world and installs historic markers and sites honoring events from the parallel world of Kcymaerxthaere. Within this parallel universe are many similar reflections of existence as we know it, but there are different creatures, cultures, laws of physics, and languages. The Annual All-Kymaericas Spelling Bee honors the languages of the parallel world and introduces to participants fresh ways to experience language in many forms.
