Friday, November 4th | @Bukit AsLan, Bandar Lampung City, Lampung, Sumatra, Indonesia
The first Kcymaerxthaere installation to feature the Indonesian language of Aksara Lampung was dedicated last Thursday, November 3rd with a gathering of local artists, artisans, influencers, and friends and family. This installation features a set of two very colorful 3-dimensional murals, both of which together as a “puzzle” for visitors to solve. That puzzle is actually a poem, but written in Beshwa Nyelvate, the Kcymaerxthaere shape language. Visitors are invited to try to solve the puzzle by referencing the color word wall that’s translated in Lampung, Indonesian, and English. There is also a key for the shapeword definitions on either side of the puzzle mural, including word types and tenses. Visitors can solve the puzzle for a prize, gifted by Bukit AsLan.
