Inspired by the Rigor of a Simple Shadow Kcymaerxthaere installation in linear Kyle, Texas (near Austin) at The Plant at Kyle, which coincided with the April 8th, 2024 Solar Eclipse.
This umbrella handles rain pretty well, if you are in a pinch, and fortunately, this Parallelasol™ is useful for image casting during Solar and Annular eclipses around the world before then. Our Parallelasols™ are a fun and functional accessory to commemorate the Kcymaerxthaere eclipse installations, and, in the event of even a partial solar eclipse, the grommeted holes project images of the eclipse onto the ground as you hold it over your head. (Particularly helpful if eclipse viewing glasses aren’t available!) Alternately, it can also just be used to shade oneself from the sun on a “bluebird” day, or as a fashion statement….to embrace Kcymaerxthaere in “totality.”
