Kcymaerxthaere Parallelasol™

Inspired by the More Than One Moon in the Sky Kcymaerxthaere installation in Shoshoni, Kcyoming (linear Wyoming), that coincided with the Great American Eclipse on August 21, 2017.

Updated for the next American Eclipse set to have Shoshoni in its umbral transit on July 31, 2744. Fortunately, this Parallelasol™ is useful for image casting during Solar and Annular eclipses around the world before then.

NEVER LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE SUN.

(Check out image 2, showing crescent images of the Sun cast on the ground between First Contact and Totality during the 2017 Eclipse in Shoshoni, Wyoming.)

This Parallelasol™ is a fun and functional accessory to commemorate the two occasions, or, in the event of even a partial solar eclipse, the grommeted holes project images of the eclipse onto the ground as you hold it over your head. (Particularly helpful if eclipse viewing glasses aren’t available!)

Alternately, it can also just be used to shade oneself from the sun on a “bluebird” day, or as a fashion statement….to embrace Kcymaerxthaere in “totality.”
